Maternal Child Health
Maternal Child Health
Supporting Families, Honouring Culture, Nurturing Future Generations
"Every new breath is a connection to the ancestors, and every child is the future of our Communities"
The Maternal Child Health Program is dedicated to supporting Indigenous women, birthers, children, and families throughout pregnancy, childbirth, early parenting, childhood development and throughout reproductive life. We provide culturally-rooted, family-centered services that promote health, wellness, and strong connections to culture, language, community, and identity.
Our program recognizes that healthy pregnancies, healthy children, and healthy families are strengthened when care is grounded in Indigenous knowledge, ceremony, traditions, and values. We walk alongside families to support their unique journeys, empowering parents and caregivers with the resources, education, and encouragement needed to help children thrive.
We strive to create welcoming and inclusive spaces where families feel respected, supported, and connected. We believe families are the experts in their own lives and support informed choices that reflect their values and goals.
