The Social Emergencies Coordinator works with the ten Southern Treaty Three First Nation Communities to respond to social emergencies through all five pillars of emergency management; prevention, mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery. The program works with the communities to assist with the coordination of response during social emergency crisis event. This program offers training and educational opportunities to enhance emergency response capacity within the
communities along with the resources that may be needed in crisis events.
