The Behavioural Health Services Team provides support for members of our 10 Fort Frances/Rainy River District First Nations. The main focus is to provide wholistic support for adult mental health counseling, substance abuse services, treatment, cultural and community support services.

The Behavioural Health Services team is guided by the Anishinaabe Seven Grandfather Teachings:

The Behavioural Health Services Counselling Team aims to provide counseling support to those experiencing challenges as an individual, couple or as a family.  Referrals are welcome from any source such as service providers, family, family doctors, or self-referral.

  • Addiction Support Services
  • Community Support Services
  • Grief Recovery Programming
  • Individual Grief Counselling
  • Community Based Workshops

The Behavioural Health Services Treatment Team aims to provide a continuum of care services surrounding substance abuse/addictions and mental health. Referrals are welcome from any source such as service providers, family, family doctors, or self-referral.

  • Case Management Services
  • Intake, Assessment, Program Orientation
  • Pre-Treatment Support and programming
  • Out-Patient Support and programming
  • AfterCare Support and programming
  • Wrap Around Services with First Nation Community Service Providers, other internal agency programs, external resources and referrals for service.
